Considering Boarding? Join us Saturday 7 February, 10am
Saturday 7 February 2026 10.00 am – 12.00 pm Considering Boarding at Burford School? Boarding at Burford offers a supportive, homely and energetic experience that grows with your child. In Junior Boarding (Years 7–9), the focus is on building confidence, friendships and independence in a safe, nurturing environment. Our youngest boarders share bright, spacious dormitories, quickly form strong bonds with our Houseparent team, and enjoy a balanced routine of lessons, supervised prep, home-cooked meals and fun evening activities such as baking, games and movie nights. As pupils move into Senior Boarding (Years 10–11), boarding becomes more purposeful and independent, supporting students through the challenges of GCSEs while encouraging responsibility, ambition and personal growth. Senior boarders benefit from greater flexibility, strong pastoral support, supervised study, and a wide range of activities including sport, gym sessions, community involvement and Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards. At weekends, boarders may return home or stay to enjoy trips and activities with friends, all within a warm, welcoming boarding community. Book your place at our Open Morning to explore boarding at Burford, meet our staff and students, and see if it’s the right fit for your child. Book through ticketsource
