We are delighted that you are considering Burford School for the next stage of your child’s education.

We are a co-educational day and state boarding school for 11 to 18 year olds, set in the town of Burford, on the edge of the Cotswolds. We are committed to delivering the best of education, and to supporting our students to aim high and achieve their goals.

While most students join us from the surrounding towns and villages, we warmly welcome students from across the United Kingdom and abroad into our thriving boarding community.

We are always delighted to welcome visitors to Burford School.

We hold three open events each year: our whole school open evening every September, our Sixth Form open evening every November and boarding open morning in February. These provide an excellent opportunity to look around the school, talk to staff and students, and hear from the Headteacher.​​

• Whole School Open Evening - 19th September 2024
• Sixth Form Open Evening - 7th November 2024 6:30pm - 8pm
• Boarding Open Morning - 1st February 2025 10am - 12pm

We also welcome visits on normal school days, by prior appointment, and believe that seeing the school in action is an excellent way to gain a greater understanding of everything we offer.
