Superb Support for our Giving Tree Initiative

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who supported our Giving Tree initiative this year. An initiative led by our Senior Pastoral Lead Mrs Simpson, members of the Burford School community were invited to take a gift tag from the tree and donate the item of food written on it in order so that we could create special hampers for some of the families in our school community this Christmas.  

Among our supporters, we would like to highlight the particularly generous contributions of the Co-op in Burford for its donation of £60 of food items; Ian Lewis, an OB, of Spar in Minster Lovell for his donation of 10 Cadbury selection boxes; and Asda in Carterton. Our very own PTA also gave an incredibly generous donation of £200 to support our initiative, enabling us to purchase even more items for the hampers. 

Your support means that we have been in the fortunate position to create multiple special hampers and spread some festive cheer within our Burford School community.
