Congratulations to all our Year 13 students!!
Successful A-Level results once again for Burford School Sixth Form; there are so many examples of incredible achievements but here is a selection of highlights:
Barney (4 x A*) who will be reading Biomedical Sciences at Oxford University, Ethan (4 x A*) who will be reading Computer Science and Mathematics at Manchester, Cara (3 x A grades) who heads off to Birmingham University to read Medicine, Liam, pictured, (4 x A*, 1 x A) and Joe (3 x A*) who both head off to Bath to read Economics with professional placement or study abroad, Edgar (2 x A*, 2 x A) who has an exciting gap year planned and to Jonah (4 x A*) who has exciting choices to make! Also to Olivia (3 x A) who will be reading English and History at Warwick, Dan (3 x A) who will be reading Economics with Industrial Experience at Exeter, Emily (3 x A) who will also be studying at Exeter, reading English and Communications, Elliot (3 x A) who will be reading Business and Management at Bristol and Pippa (2 x A*’s, 1 x B) who will be studying Psychology and Criminology at Aberystwyth.
Our very best wishes also go to Freya who will attend the prestigious JCA (Jimmy Choo) London Fashion Academy and to Ted and Scarlett, who will be singing their way to the Oxford School of Drama. Also our very best to Fergus and Fred who, after a year working in New Zealand, will return to Harper Adams University to study Agriculture.
We also have many students who plan to see the world and have accepted offers abroad. Good luck goes to Nadia, who is heading to study Medicine in Poland, Quinn who will be studying at University in Thailand and to Megan, who successfully secured a golf apprenticeship in the United States, and has already moved over to Indiana to study at Bethel University. Hugo McCullagh will study at a university in sunny Spain’s vibrant Madrid.
We also celebrate our students who have secured apprenticeships, including Stan, who with his 3 x A grades, has secured a fantastic cybersecurity apprenticeship with SJP, Ben (3 x B’s) secured a Quantity Surveying Apprenticeship with The Hill Group and Kyla, who joins the South-Central Ambulance Service.
